Regina's PDAP application approved

The Metropolis of Regina’s utility for Provincial Catastrophe Help has been approved.

Via the Provincial Disaster Help Program, Regina residents who suffered un-insurable losses from heavy rains June 24 and September 5 and 6 can apply for financial assistance.

Residents should contact their insurance coverage provider first, and if their claim is denied, a letter is required which states insurance coverage will not be obtainable for the damage.

The City of Regina suggests documenting any work that has been accomplished to fix the damage as a way to present proof of loss and repair. Pictures are a good factor to include. A PDAP adjuster will review the claim.

Kinds can be found at City Corridor, Regina Hearth Stations and at regina.ca.

A neighborhood assembly might be held Sept. 20 at 7 p.m. at the South Leisure Centre. Representatives from the City of Regina, PDAP, Red Cross and Setting Well being will likely be accessible to answer questions.
