Residents and enterprise house owners hit by summer flooding in six japanese Kentucky counties are approaching a deadline to use for presidency assistance.
The Federal Emergency Administration Company has set a deadline of Sept. 21 for individuals who suffered losses in the July storms. It is also the deadline to use for a Small Business Administration catastrophe loan.
FEMA says in an announcement that thus far 2,400 folks in the six counties have registered for help, and more than $14 million has been permitted in grants and loans for Kentuckians affected by the storms.
The counties are Carter, Lewis, Madison, Mason, Pike and Rowan.
